So I have decided that I want to start to teach my little girl sight words, and build up to reading around the time that she is three. Aparently, this is quite possible and their a good number of children that have learned to do so. I hope that my girl can be one of the few that learns to do this. She has two languages to master and I would like to have her reading both to some degree before she starts school. In Berlin, children don't start school until the age of 6, and because she won't be attending preschool, it is even more important that I am the teacher in her life.
So here goes nothing- I just hope that I am up to the task...Baby is pretty hard-headed and has a mind all her own...I wonder where she got that from...?
